If I said I made this project to figure out asexuality, I would be lying. I made it because I thought it would be a fun activity to run around being shocked by my friends. But as the project went on and I tried the shocker I realized how little I like being shocked. There is little masochistic fun for me in it and Id rather not be shocked. Still I wanted to finish the project. I wanted to provide something fun. How much I enjoy it is not that important after all, right? I felt the same way about intimacy aswell. Still do now, but less often. My self worth is slowly improving and I take time to reflect about what I want from intimacy. Im not sure if I would call myself asexual. But in the future I want to do things I enjoy and not things I imagine other might want from me. And I think I will be happier for it. For now I get shocked and hopefully learn something from it :>
Oh ya, the technical side of the Project was super fun! The shocker Im using is a modified one from AliExpress (look up the OpenShock project if you are interested). I did some soldering, figuring out the shocker api and learning how to use qr codes to execute python code. I will probably upload the code to github later. Big thanks to my beautiful and talented and amazing girlfriend who helped me with the project! I love youu!!
